Hello Tobias, Thanks for the wish report. The wish for holidays as automatic exceptions to repeating events is already submitted as bug report #80002. About the email interface: What do you mean with that? KOrganizer implements the iTIP/iMIP invitation handling, so if you enable the groupware functionality in the config dialog, and you add attendees to an event, you will be asked if you want to send invitations to them. I guess this is what you mean? Cheers, Reinhold *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 80002 *** Hello Reinhold, i mean the feature to send someone a date of mine. When i click on the message button automatically kmail opens. It would be nice if it would be able to use here different mail programms just like mozilla thunderbird. I am sorry of my failure. I didn´t see the bug report with the holiday problem. Cheers, Tobi On Thursday 17 February 2005 17:42, Tobias Kumpfmüller wrote:

Ah, I see. Some time ago we had the option to use sendmail or kmail. The only
problem is that invitation mails also need a specific Content-Type: header of
the mail, and e.g. sendmail can't handle it. I doubt that you can easily call
thunderbird to create a valid invitation mail.
It doesn't suffice to just past the event into the mail body, the mailer needs
to add some specific mail headers.
Can you please file a separate bug report (whishlist item) for this?
Cheers,
Reinhold
