It does for me. It gets filed under Utilities->More Programs though. Not ideal. I think this is due to XDG changes. > It does for me. It gets filed under Utilities->More Programs though.

You're right, it is there. Just never thought to look there very hard.
Placed under Accessories for me (FC3). We are still trying to figure out why it gets placed in the wrong location in the menu for at least two of us. Once we know, then we can close it. ---------------------------- revision 1.8 date: 2003/12/24 22:19:00; author: waba; state: Exp; lines: +1 -1 Add categories, patch by Frans Englich This seems to be the cause. Not sure what is correct yet. Waldo, what should we do to make the app appear in a more sensible and prominent place in the menu? If you tell me where you want to have it, I can tell you how to do it. On Wednesday 02 March 2005 18:32, Waldo Bastian wrote:

Well, I think I know how to do it, but I'm not sure where it "should" be
placed (to conform to XDG standards, and to make sure it works on different
distros, which presently is the problem). I think either a Science toplevel
menu, or Applications->... The people who install it certainly have a
particular need for it and want it to be prominent.
