Version: 1.5.1 (using KDE KDE 3.3.2) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages Compiler: gcc (GCC) 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-8) OS: Linux I have found some problems in the KShisen handbook Revision 1.4.90 (2003-09-17). If I have an out of date handbook and the problems are solved then I apologize for wasting peoples time. Thank you. The first one could just be me, I thought the sentence was confusing. If people disagree please disregard that suggestion. * "Chapter 2. Playing KShisen" -> Rules the sentence... The game is over if no moves are possible and some tiles are left on the board (this should not happen if the option Disallow Unsolvable Games in the Settings menu is checked, since for these games there is at least one way to solve it, though it may happen that you choose the wrong way). ought to be something like... The game is over when no moves are possible. This could be due to clearing all the tiles from the field or reaching a point in the game where no two matching tiles can be connected by three lines. (Some games are unsolvable, if you would like to avoid unsolvable games uncheck the "Allow unsolvable games" checkbox in Settings -> "Configure Shisen-sho...".) * Move the "The Game Menu" and "The Move Menu" sections under a new chapter called "Menu Reference" * Completely remove the contents of the Configuration chapter ("The Settings Menu" and "Key Bindings"). * Create a new "The Settings Menu" section within the "Menu Reference" chapter. The following text could be used... Chapter 3 Menu Reference The Settings Menu Settings -> Hide/Show Toolbar Hides/Shows the Toolbar. Settings -> Hide/Show Statusbar Hides/Shows the Statusbar. Settings -> Configure Shortcuts... Opens a window that allows you to change the default keyboard shortcuts. Settings -> Configure Toolbars... Opens a window that allows you to add or remove buttons to the toolbar. Settings -> Configure Shisen-Sho... This displays your current configuration, and allows you to change the configuration to alter the behavior of the game. Help -> About Shisen-Sho This displays version, author, and licensing information regarding Shisen-Sho. Help -> About KDE This displays the KDE version and other basic information. * Within the old Configuration chapter the following text could be used... Chapter 4 Configuration Selecting the Settings -> "Configure Shisen-Sho..." menu item will open a configuration dialog which lets you alter the behavior of the game. Gravity When this is checked the game becomes more challenging. Now when a tile is removed, all tiles above it will fall down one step. Allow unsolvable games When this is checked games in which you cannot remove all the tiles are possible. Board Difficulty The slider controls the difficulty of the board. There are three optins Easy Medium and Hard. Piece Removal Speed Adjusting this slider alters the speed at which the pieces are removed from the screen after a match has been made. Prefer unscaled tiles When this is checked the window will adjust to the size of the board. Tile Size This slider allows you to select the number of tiles on the field. Help Invokes the KDE Help system starting at the Shisen-Sho help pages, this document. Default Sets all the configuration options to their defaults. Ok Saves your changes and closes the window. Apply Saves your changes, but leaves the configuration window open. Cancel Closes the configuration window without saving your changes.
