i checked now if it has something to do with the user permissions on the partition (/windows/D), but it quanta also crashes if i create the project at /home/manu/test I cannot reproduce the crash with the current CVS version or the latest 3.3.2 release. I have KDE 3.4 from around Beta2. Oh, I remember now. The bug is in kdelibs and I fixed some time ago. ;-) I'm not sure in which version is it fixed, but the fix was committed on 21/11/2004. KDE 3.3.2 should not have the problem. my solution was - finally - to install java 1.5. eclipse does not have any problems any more with that version :-) I have encountered this bug (without the requirement of having to insert global templates) in Quanta/KDE 3.4.1. I've provided information/backtrace etc at https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=88763 as this bug seems to be a duplicate of 88763. |
