Description Joseph Roback 2005-02-11 02:50:15 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.92)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.5-r1, ssp-3.3.2-3, pie-8.7.7.1)
OS: Linux

Everytime I connect to a KDE remote desktop system (krfb) with another KDE desktop using the remote desktop client (krdc) the remote system's X server jumps to 100% cpu usage. (low/medium/high quality)

This has done this since remote desktop was put in KDE. Gnome2.8's vnc server doesn't do this. please fix.

xorg-x11 6.8.1, but happen in xfree4.3.0 as well.
I tried up to kde3.4.0_beta2

thanks.

I also just tried using tightvnc's vncviewer as a client. Still the remote host's X server process spiked @ 100% cpu usage.
