This allows one to create a online WYSIWYG HTML editor without using neither I.E. specific hacks nor ActiveX.

Those "MIDAS rich editing controls" [1] are pretty well documented and are used in a rapidly growing number of online applications (several CMS, Epoz [2], HTMLArea [3]) and can not be further ignored IMHO.

This enhancement is completely unsupported by KHTML and has neither something to do with an I.E. specific hack nor an ActiveX feature nor this "Yahoo Online Mail Editor".
