Version:           3.1.1 (using KDE KDE 3.3.2)
Installed from:    Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS:                Linux

During creating any project on  Kdevelop 3.1.1 , if use  native char in  Author field or email address, 
  Project  file    could not create fine. 
 This  bug is in older kdeveloper 2.x  # 4101
