Radar maps (and other types of maps) serve as a great way to get a quick but informative idea of what the weather is like and will be like for the next several hours. It would be *great* if KWeather could grab radar maps for a given location, if it could find them, and display them. The best way to do it might be a tabbed interface, like GNOME's GWeather applet, or it may be better to present everything at once. Since "extended forecast" is another wishlist for KWeather, I think maybe the tab idea is best.

Weather maps for US locations are available at weather.com - I'm not sure about other locations, and there may even be a better place to find them.
