*.bin is generic binary file, of contents unknown. Associating it with any program is not correct. ok but add an empty mimetype so people can associate something with it. should i close this bug as WONT FIX? There is an "application/octet-stream" MIME type, which has a ".bin" extension. I can configure applications to open ".bin" files using KDE 4.7. |
