In the current version of the software, you can configure the Special Dates to show you as many days in advance as you need. Thus, you will see the weekend dates _before_ they expire. To see expired birthdays would be nice for me, too. I often forget the birthdays of some "not really important persons" or forget to look at the summary view. Nevertheless I want to write them an e-mail one or two days later, but then I forget them again, because they aren't in the summary view.
