metacontact icons (not the smilling face , but the msn metacontact pics ) should not fade to black and white to show that the contact is away.

an image layer ( like the smilling face has ) should be used instead.

this is because some contact pics are already black and white , and others are hard to spot that they are black and white.

Closing this, as a think kopete is not developed anymore and its an extremely old bug
