Version:           1.4.2 (using KDE KDE 3.3.2)
Installed from:    Debian testing/unstable Packages

Selecting (transparent!) schemas from the command line with for example:
konsole  --schema Transparent.schema --notoolbar 
gives a konsole with black background.

Same as bug 83162. Appears in version 1.4.2 of konsole.

This has been fixed in KDE3.4, as 83162 says.
