I looked at a few kstars.po files in CVS; it looks like the tips are being translated. When you say they can't be translated, do you mean they are not showing up at all in kbabel? Jason I do translate the entries that are present in POT or PO but when I run KStars everything else is transleted but Tips od the day. After asking on kde-i18n-doc, I think that this may not be a KStars bug. See: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=95437 Can you check the tip of the day text for other apps? It is hard to say. Some show it and some don't show it translated. And some only show it partialy translated. I would have to check out if those apps that don't show it translated actually have or don't have the translation in PO. What I can see in the other bug is some reference to Tip with \t and \n characters not working. And the tips I have problems with have these characters in them. |
