Description David 2005-01-30 12:35:57 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.91)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

I frequently use Linux's multitasking to its full potential, for example, I have 61 windows open right now after I have been working on closing them for a few minutes. With my screen set at 1024x768 there are only 43 of them listed in the Switch Window List (alt-tab on my system).

Under heavy load (which is common with 60+ windows open), the switch-list is often a lot more responsive then the taskbar, which sometimes pauses completely and becomes unusable, and of course the app I need to access to reduce load is only sometimes on the switch-list.

There really needs to be a way to scroll it with the keyboard, and/or even better, display small icons and have the title in a statusbar - like MS Windows task switching - when too many windows are open.
