Would it be possible to allow a user to manipulate the layout of the message list? Right now, imho the email list view is very cramped against the left side bar, much tighter than the top of the message list, or the folder list (if you compare pixel widths/heigths for example). 

The effect is the list seems very 'shoved' in the space when compared to other mail clients. It would be very helpful if a user could specify this, otherwise could the gaps could be uniform (top, sides, bottom)??

Hmm... think this is not a problem since kde 4.2 anymore
