Description Dik Takken 2005-01-21 11:41:14 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.2)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux

When extracting tracks from a damaged audio CD, the audiocd KIO slave displays a warning about possible damage in 'this track'. But then I'm copying multiple tracks at once, which track is 'this track' exactly? So, please show the name of the track that was causing trouble.

Also, it seems that the KIO swallows any additional errors when there is one error dialog box on screen already. It should update the dialog box showing a nice list of errors that occurred.

Just a note that the settings should let you turn off the warning if you want.
Comment 3 Dik Takken 2005-01-31 23:48:20 UTC
Would it not be better to use the KDE notification system in stead of just throwing another warning dialog on the desktop? The KDE notification system allows the user to customize/disable the warning messages.

Looks like a duplicate of #94003, where comments #2 and #3 indicate that the warning should possibly be completely removed, if the resulting files are fine?

Closing my bug report. Will add a note to Bug 94003 about the suggested use of KNotify.
