Version:           1.7.2 (using KDE 3.3.2, compiled sources)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.4.2 [FreeBSD] 20040728
OS:                FreeBSD (i386) release 5.3-STABLE

Once in a while KMail will get itself into a state, best understood by looking at the picture I intend to attach.

Note the 2 new message (correct) and 1430 total message (also correct), but a totally empty messages deck :-(

Restarting the kio_imap4 used to help in such cases before, but not with the later KMail versions (nor with kio_newimap4).

The IMAP server is MS Exchange...

Do you still see this problem with KDE 4.3.1 ?

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this version of Kmail has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug. Please try using the latest version of Kmail to see if your issue persists. If it does, please submit a new bug in "kmail2". Thank you!
