I have run this on a P3-450 with 512MB RAM. There are hints that this problem doesn't occur in really fast machines. *** Bug 97396 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** what version of kipi-plugins do you have? Can you update to the latest cvs version and see if you can reproduce this problem > what version of kipi-plugins do you have? kipi-plugins-0.0.cvs20040920-6.i586.rpm > Can you update to the latest cvs version and see if you can reproduce > this problem Someday I'll get set up for compiling kde apps, but for now I'll pass. If you happen to have a tar file of the binaries when there's a chance it'll run on SuSE 9.2, I'll try. Thanks, Volker The version I have installed is 0.0.cvs20040920-6.1 I will check to see if there is another version available. Thank you for your support Jose A. I've just read that the ftp-version of SuSE 9.2 has package-versions with .1 appended, so if you're also using SuSE 9.2 your 0.0.cvs20040920-6.1 is functionally the same as mine. If anyone does have a newer binary (tar will do) which is binary-compatible with SuSE 9.2 please let me have a copy. the latest released version is 0.1beta1 (which was released on Oct 13, 2004). And suse rpms are available here: ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/supplementary/KDE/update_for_9.2/applications/ note, you will also need to update libkipi and libkexif (available from the same site) > the latest released version is 0.1beta1 (which was released on Oct 13, 2004). Ah thanks, didn't realise supplementary was the latest. I also needed a
new digikam:
digikam-0.7.1-2.i586.rpm
kipi-plugins-0.1beta1-5.i586.rpm
libkexif-0.2.1-2.i586.rpm
libkipi-0.1-7.i586.rpm
Unfortunately it doesn't work:
digikam: symbol lookup error: /opt/kde3/lib/libdigikam.so.0: undefined
symbol: _ZN11KMainWindow7setIconERK7QPixmap
Volker
looks like digiKam 0.7.1 in SuSE has been built for kdelibs 3.3.2. You will need to update your kdelibs (at the least) to that version *** Bug 101925 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Not reproducable, please update to the latest version. |
