valid with KDE 3.4 too Hi, what exactly do you mean with post-it? Could you give a step by step description how to reproduce it, please? Ciao, Tobias yep, When you open Knotes alone and make a notes you will see a yellow square ( the note) but if you open it with kontact there is no yellow square on the screen do you want screenshots ? Hi, of course there is no yellow square on the screen. The standalone knotes uses the post-it concept, but we can't use this concept in kontact, so we used the icon view with an edit dialog instead of inline editing... That's the way it is implemented and we won't change it until a better solution is proposed. why this can't be used with kontact ? i don't understand In kontact we could have the icon view ( with preview ). However we could still have the post-it concept appart. The point is just to synchronize the content of the icon view with the one of the post-it. In kontact i can : edit, see, add/delete a post-it, it will be displayed only in kontact and kontact summary screen However by a right click on the icon ( or by launch the knotes applet ), I could have the post-it on my add. If I add/edit/delete a post-it with the applet, the kontact view should be updated accordingly. |
