I suggest using Alt-Tab to switch to Konsole and then Alt-Tab again to switch back to Kate.
An alternative would be to use a text editor which has an embedded terminal (such as Kate). You could then define a keyboard shortcut to switch to the terminal.
I am very hesitant to add a toolbar to Konsole. Konsole is a command-line program which is all about keyboard entry. I think what you are asking for calls for a separate tool. |
