Hi Ethan, thanks for reporting, we will investigate why this happens. I also have a problem printing barcode in a PDF document I will attach. The barcode is at the buttom. It displays fine but prints as some very large letters and numbers. KGhostView prints the barcode correctly. I'm using KPDF from todays SVN KDE 3.5 branch. Created attachment 12053 [details]
Problematic PDF with barcode
The barcode at the bottom of the first page doesn't print correctly.
Jure,
which versions of CUPS and Ghostscript are involved?
Works well here, CUPS 1.1.23, ESP Ghostscript 8.15.0, kpdf 0.5.5, KDE 3.5.5
"Print to File ({PDF,PostScript})" does work too.
I'll use this example file (attachment 12053 [details]) in my next blog (about "how to test font embedding quickly?") if you don't mind.
Closing now as WORKSFORME.
