Check http://img140.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img140&image=sage8px.png . It'S Sage a Firefox rss reader extension and puts article as if its in a newspaper. Looks very good and would be good to see in akregator.

Yes, I've been thinking of feed ioslave which could have this kind of functionality. Maybe it could be used inside of aKregator too...
Comment 2 Ismail Donmez 2004-12-27 22:36:47 UTC
Yes a very good idea indeed.
Comment 3 Sashmit Bhaduri 2004-12-28 01:48:19 UTC
imho, a feed ioslave is pretty much useless because most sites don't send the right mimetypes, and not many sites use the informal feed urls.

better to implement this in user-switchable xslt stylesheets that can be applied to various modes like combined mode. that'd let you change the appearance and formatting style on the fly.

This is how the aggregators FeedDemon and RSSBandit do it in Windows

Good Evening Cartman-

If I understand you correctly.. This should be closed as a duplicate of Bug 105927 - allow user css and js? My reasoning for taking the "newer" bug is because this bug is a subset of it.

Right now Akregator's got a merged view. I think it could be easier now to theme it.
