Sentry Crash Report:

Description James Richard Tyrer 2004-12-26 05:53:42 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.90)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: GCC-3.4.3
OS: Linux

This appears similar to some old bugs but apepars to be a new problem.

I have the Type1 IBM Courier that comes with X and the Type1 Adobe Courier that comes with AAR-3.x for Windows installed. When I: "Choose" for anything but: "Fixed width" these two fonts are listed:

Courier [Adobe]
Courier [ibm]

but when I: "Choose" for: "Fixed width" they are not listed.

I am using: "libfreetype.so.6.3.7".

I am similarly unable to select Courier 10 Pitch from the fixed width selector, though it appears in the general selector. I am able to use it in all my programs (it's my konsole font), but if I change it using the KDE selector, I will have to edit the configuration file directly to put it back to Courier 10 Pitch.

I'm using 3.3.91, but this bug has been around since early 3.3, and perhaps late 3.2. I have libfreetype 6.3.4.

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug. Kcontrol has been replaced by System Settings in Plasma. Please give the latest version of that a try, and open a new bug in "systemsettings" if you continue to have an issue. Thank you!
