Description Dirk Heinrichs 2004-12-22 13:33:10 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.2)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux

There is a Linux driver now for the Siemens GigaSet ISDN device family. This driver(s) also create tty device nodes when loaded. There may be three of them:

/dev/ttyGB0: for the base station
/dev/ttyGS0: for the serial DECT device
/dev/ttyGU0: for the USB DECT device

It would be nice if these devices could be added to the list of kppp's modem devices.

Thanx...

      Dirk

Any news on this one?

This project is unfortunately no longer maintained.

If a new maintainer wants to step up and take care, the project is archived here:

https://invent.kde.org/unmaintained/kppp

You can just clone it in your private namespace on invent.kde.org and if you have started to work on it and fixed/implemented something get it reviewed and the project unarchived.

Sorry for the inconveniences.
