I second that: Selecting view->sort by folder in Digikam gives you an album hierarchy but there is no way to maintain that hierarchy in the html export. In fact in a deeply nested folder structure it is necessary to select every single sub-folder for html-export (select-all does not work if you want to export one album with sub-folders only). Export plugin should remember already selected categories from previous exports and final export should folow hirearchy of the DigiKam albums (or optionaly). Selecting of the albums like in Amarok (tree with combo boxes) would be really nice. I hadn't seen that last comment, but it's exactly what I meant when creating bug #117073, which is strongly related. On an "administrative" note, I'm wondering whether this bug here is correctly assigned. SHouldn't it rather be digikam-devel ? According to Comment #3 I move this discussion in bug #117073, where there are screenshot showing the reporter wish. By now Cd archive and HTML export have two different way to exoprt in html, but we should try to align them soon. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 117073 *** With new HTML Gallery tool from digiKam core, this problem is not reproducible.
