Description S. Burmeister 2004-12-11 14:51:16 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.2)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

When I copy files from my hdd to some server using webdavs:// the transfer window increases the transfered kb-number and thus the progress-bar, by 32 kb for each file, no matter what amount of data was transfered for that file. The number of files left displays correctly.

10 of 11 files transfered would thus result in the window displaying 320 kb/xx MB tranfered 10/11 files.

I have the same problem. The shown amount of transferred data for one file is always 32 KB, for two files 64 KB and so on. I am using MDK latest cooker, with kde 3.3.2 (cooker packages from yesterday).

I have seen this problem a couple of times, but I never wrote a bug report.

Thanks.

I cannot reproduce this problem with KDE 3.5. Could you please check to see if it is still an issue with 3.5, and if so, could you provide some details as to the server you are using. Thanks.
