Sometimes knode (in fact I was using it inside kontact but this should not matter?) doesn't put sent message in the "Sent" folder. It happened to me after editing & sending the message from "Drafts" folder. I also didn't see the message appearing in the "Outbox".
I don't want to be banned from my newsgroups, so I don't know is it reproducible or not. I never saw this behavior for regular newsgroup posts (only saw it with the messages from "Drafts").

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug.
