The KDockWidget layout restoration is too buggy to use, so we don't use it. It's been like this for a long time and is likely to stay this way until KMDI/KDockWidget is fixed or we port KDevelop away from KMDI. The latter seems more likely. This is a dupe too. dupe of? I have an idea: close it as dupe. :-) I'm not sure if this exact bug has been reported elsewhere, but it IS KMDI. Kate shows the same behaviour. Reassigning. Funny enough, KDevelop 3.0.4 on KDE 3.3.2 does not mess up the tabbed window layout after restarting. In fact, I observed this behaviour since KDevelop 3.1 on various systems using different versions of KDE... |
