Description S. Burmeister 2004-12-03 18:34:12 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.1)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

Some websites send you an email with an activation-link. To confirm your registration you have to click on it. It obviously only works once, after that the user mostly gets a message that the link was already used.
If I click on such a link in kmail, konqueror opens tha page with the message telling me that I used that link already, which I did not do but kmail did.
This must not happen, as there might be information displayed after triggering the activation which the user never gets to see.
When clicking the link one can see a transfer-window popping up, when it gets to 100% konqueror is opened and the page loads again. This behaviour leads to the result described above.

I expect kmail not to trigger any app that loads the website before konqueror does in order to avoid problems as well as save time.
