Description Nicolas Girard 2004-11-27 18:19:26 UTC
Version:           1.7.1 (using KDE 3.3.1 (CVS >= 20041110), Mandrake Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.4.1 (Mandrakelinux 10.1 3.4.1-4mdk)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.8.1-20mdk

When right-clicking on a folder in the folders pane, the folder gets selected and its contents are displayed.
Most of time it is counter-productive, as the most probable reasons to right-click is:

- when you want to empty the recycle bin
- when you want to create a subfolder, then to move mails from the
  current folder to the newly created one

Err... well, I wouldn't want to quibble, but it seems like a *bug* rather than a whish IMHO.
Actually this makes Kmail behave differently from the rest of KDE apps. Try this with Konqueror:
- browse a local folder
- open the navigation panel on the left side of the window
- right-click on any folder from the nav panel : it doesn't affect the main view
