I added a kasbar to my kicker today and configed it to be positioned top left of my monitor. I also made it 1% heigh and checked the box to make it scale as needed.

For some reason the kasbar only showed the first icon and left 2 others blank.  I had 3 applications running.

Only after I made kasbar floating, then pressed rotate and again made it non-floating did I see all applications.

Please check if you rotate kasbar when it is positioned vertically by kicker.

Kasbar is no more developed and it will not be ported on KDE4. Kasbar bugs are being closed as "UNMANTAINED".

For specific kasbar feature which doesn't exists in the new KDE4 please open a new wish for KDE4. :-)
