Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.1)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources

Looking Browser Bookmarks Menu (a GNOME applet to lookup bookmarks in Epyphany/Firefox/galeon/konqueror), I miss the functionality to import automatically bookmarks from other browsers.

The ideal thing would be to use a same place and format to store the bookmarks, so any application can share. Perhaps we would use XBEL and a default storage place like ~/.bookmarks.

This proposal would be common for another web browsers and would need communication with another web browser projects.

KDE does use XBEL format.

Or if the others developpement teams don't want to negociate you could let the user choose if he wants to share his bookmarks with Firefox, Opera, etc.
