Sentry Crash Report:

Description Brian S Monroe 2004-11-13 20:29:40 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.1)
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
Compiler: Redhat Fedora Core 3 on an i686
OS: Linux

If the kbear sitemanager preferences (in the konqueror toolbar) have the "show daemon icon in system tray" checked, whenever the kbear sitemanager enables, the system tray suddenly expands to almost 10 times its size. It seems to cause at least 15 to 50 pixels of "padding" to be generated around each icon in the system tray. This causes the system tray to be almost unreadable since it expands far beyond the width of the panel.

I have my "home page" set as my home folder. When ever I go to the home folder, that is when the kbear sitemanager kicks in and causes this behavior.

SOLUTION: Uncheck the "show icon in system tray" option for the kbear sitemanager option in the Konqueror toolbar.

KBear version is 2.1
