yah cdparinoia has a really long default timeout, maybe that should be decreased? I have tried to err on the side of caution sense people rip once and play many times, but... As for modifing on the fly that might be tricky. Need to look into that sense that is done in the kio (some sort of signal to check the config file or something). I'm not sure, if I'm right here. I have the same problem. CDs with a lot off errors. Some time, they need more then a few days to reed them out. But in the night I wonna go to sleep. Because of this, I like to pause the ripping. Is it possible to break to ripping and start it at the same position. The files are on the disk. The computer needs only the position on the CD to start from there. *** Bug 149745 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Thank you for the bug report.
