When the user select many contacts in the contact list (with Ctrl-click and/or Shift-click), the contextual menu (right click) contains only 'remove' (or 'delete', i don't know... the french version is 'Supprimer'). It would be usefull having a 'Merge into meta-contact' entry.
(I think it's different from the resolved bug #53959).

Fixed in trunk (SVN commit 946606) will be in KDE 4.3
