It would be nice if any KPart could be used as a Kontact plugin. I don't think it would be necessary to list all the KParts on the system by default in the Kontact select component dialog, but if they were optionally accessible then that would be nice.

This would require creating a generic KPart to  Kontact plugin factory.

I'll take responsibility for this one, although it might be some time before I can begin working on it.

Daniel any comment? I hope this sounds ok with you. I discussed it with Cornelius on #kontact and he seemed ok with the general idea.

Any progress, Don? This bug has been assigned to you for two years :)
I'd really like to see KnowIt integrated into Kontact. It would simplify my workflow greatly. Thanks.
