Version:           2.0.1 (using KDE 3.2.3,  (3.1))
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.4 (Debian 1:3.3.4-7)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.7

I have a USB sound card (Audigy 2 NX) which doesn't support 44.1kHz. To get it to work correctly, I set it to 48kHz in the control center (Sound & Multimedia->Hardware->Use custom sampling rate). When I play back files in other programs (eg XMMS) they are fine, but in juk, they play back quicker (with pitch shifted up as expected).

"Settings->Output To" is set to aRts (and XMMS is also using aRts)

So...if I understand things it actually does work when you set the sample rate?

Sorry about the dupe. I won't post here after this. The soundcard doesn't support 44.1kHz (if I set it to that, the sound is recognisable, but distorted).
