Description Ralph von der Heyden 2004-11-09 11:31:53 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.1)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.4 20040623 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.4-r1, ssp-3.3.2-2, pie-8.7.6)
OS: Linux

Hello!

When printing multiple pages on one sheet from kghostview (file is a pdf), I get the following error:

ralph@bender ~/uni/komsys $ kghostview KomSysWS04_05_1EinfMS.pdf
kdeprint: WARNING: rangeToSize(QString) is obsolete, do not use (no effect)

The printer symbol down right appears and disappears immediately again, printer does not print anything and lpstat shows no jobs.

When using kprinter KomSysWS04_05_1EinfMS.pdf this does not happen, printer does print 4 pages per sheet correctly.

Printing System is cups-1.1.20-r5 (from Gentoo).

UNCONFIRMED (batch reassigning messed this)
Comment 2 Cristian Tibirna 2005-09-24 06:56:42 UTC
I can't reproduce this.

Please test it with current KDE. Could have been bound to kghostview and might have been fixed already.

Feedback timeout [request by Cristian 2005-09-24 06:56].
Also WORKSFORME.
Closing this bug now.

Ralph, please feel free to re-open this report if the issue still bugs you with KDE 3.5.5.
