This behavior is due to the focus-less design of KMail. Pressing the down key will open the menu and then left/right will navigate through the menus, but that is just a workaround. Maybe we can check if a menu is active and not do normal keyboard navigation in that case. The Alt-key does not set focus to the menu all over kde in KDE4.1+ from trunk (r860647). So this should either be closed as WONTFIX or reassigned as wish to kdelibs. |
