As a side note, I wonder why this ability couldn't be integrated into KDE's "menu bar" component... I mean, it would make more sense if there was a global shortcut to hide/show the menu bar of *any* KDE app ? It would be really sweet to have an option in the control center to enable "amiga style" menus. What I mean is menus that are hidden by default (freeing up valuable screen space) and shown on top of the windows' titlebar once the titlebar is pressed with the right mouse button (or perhaps that could be configurable). I guess it's hard to see the beauty of this method for anyone not used to workbench.. :) *** This bug has been confirmed by popular vote. *** Also wondering about what #1 and partialy #2 says, why not a global Show/Hide menubar that can be set on and off on all KDE applications? This wish could be marked as dup of bug #168070 (global hide/show menubar) Do you agree? I think so, as having a global action would resolve the wish *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 168070 *** |
