Sentry Crash Report:

Description Michael Nottebrock 2004-10-30 12:49:49 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.1)
Installed from: FreeBSD Ports
OS: FreeBSD

If KDE is exited with kontact hidden via kmail's systray-biff, the window position, window size and iconfication state is not correctly restored: Kontact will always reappear with its window open and maximized on the display containing the mouse pointer.

Since this bug is inherited from kmail, feel free to reassign, I file it for kontact since I don't use standalone kmail anymore.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
