Version:           1.0.1 (using KDE KDE 3.3.1)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs
OS:                Linux

When I view/read a mail and a new mail arrives in the same folder, the displayed message disappears leaving only a while field. No user interaction is done meanwhile. This behavior is at least reproduceable on IMAP's inbox.

This way KMail/Kontact looks after receiving a message. The user performed no
interaction since the first screenshot.

I can no longer reproduce this bug on trunk r881868.
