Description David Anderson 2004-10-25 12:30:45 UTC
Version: 3.0 (using KDE KDE 3.2.3)
Installed from: RedHat RPMs

I would like to be able to save a session that can be restored from a menu of "saved sessions".

For example, when I am working on Greek, I bring up OpenOffice, Konqueror showing my directory of Greek work, Mozilla showing a Unicode keyboard manager, and xpdf. That's a lot of clicking. If I could just save the session once I've opened all that, that would save some time next time around.

My menu might have a number of different scenarios/sessions in it: "Greek work", "Sysadmin work", "Finances", etc...

This seems such a handy feature that maybe it already exists... but I don't know where (and I've been using KDE since 1.0, or was it 1.1...)
