The employment center in Germany (for example) have interactive formulars to fill out for the employers. This is very important because in January every employer must have finished this offer. kpdf did not support this. check here:

The linked pdf is no longer available. Adobe has some sample files online:
http://www.adobe.com/products/server/readerextensions/indepth.html
This is probably an xpdf limitation.

if i understand correctly, pdf forms are working (at least partially) in okular. anybody with more insight ?
Comment 6 Stefan Endrullis 2008-08-30 16:08:00 UTC
Yes, okular can handle PDF forms. Even check boxes and radio boxes are working in the new okular of KDE4.1.
Comment 7 Jonas Vejlin 2009-04-27 09:24:57 UTC
Should this wish be moved to Okular since Kpdf is unmaintained?
Comment 8 Stefan Endrullis 2009-04-27 09:47:41 UTC
I'm not the reporter of this issue, bug I would also move it to Okular since Kpdf is unmaintained and Okular can be even used by KDE3 fans.
Comment 9 Albert Astals Cid 2009-04-27 21:20:42 UTC
Okular already supports forms as stated in comment #6 why would you want to move this whish to okular?
Comment 10 Stefan Endrullis 2009-04-27 21:27:15 UTC
I meant move it to Okular and close it. :)
Comment 11 Albert Astals Cid 2009-08-26 23:11:59 UTC
Closing this wish.

kpdf is no longer under development and the okular team has already implemented it. If you have pdf that fail when using okular please open a separate bug.
