Version:           2.4.0 (using KDE 3.3.0, Gentoo)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.4 20040623 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.4-r1, ssp-3.3.2-2, pie-8.7.6)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.7-gentoo-r11

Can we have an option on the 'Action' menu to test the integrity of an open zip file, just extract the zip to a tmp location and bin the files as soon as they are extracted, report any errors.

Having this option for other compression methods that also store internal checksums would also be useful :)

I'm closing this bug report because it suggests a smaller part of the wish described in bug 140492.
