I would like to use the ALPEN-method (sorry, german acronym) for my daily planing of the next day.

Method is as following:

A) List all tasks for the next day
L) list the lenght of each task
P) plan the buffer for each task (usually around 40%, for not forseeable things or disturbance)
E) Make descisions:
   * set priorities for each task: Is it important? Is it urgent?
   I&U -> A Priority, I&!U-> B, !I&U -> C, !I&!U -> D and straight to the bin
   * Shorten soem tasks
   * can you delegate a task?
N) Afterwards control how it worked out. Send undone tasks to the next day.

So what I miss is a view, were I can list my tasks for the next day (which gets filled by undon tasks of the last day), assign a period of time to each task, assign a value for Important and Urgent and then sort by ABC and then drag the Items into the calendar.

I would already be happy, if I could assign a period of time to a todo item and this would show, when I have dragged the item to the calender.

The ALPEN Method is described in Lothar Seiwert, "Das neue 1x1 des Zeitmanagement" (German; "The new basics of time management"). There are more tools of time management available in that books and other books of that author.

Having such tools available in Korganizer/KDE would be really great!
