Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.0) Installed from: Compiled From Sources OS: Linux First ,I select a schema "Transparent", then I change the tabbar from bottom to hide,(in setting->tabbar->Hide), after that, the schema transparent effect disappeared. It workers well with some other schema like "Green on black".
