Description Marcin Kasperski 2004-10-14 15:38:25 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.3)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

Currently korganizer allows only for one reminder for single event. It would be nice if I could specify more than one.

Usage examples: while entering event for some meeting I would like to be alarmed one day before it (to check whether I have all the necessary preparations) and 10 minutes before it (to go for it on time). while entering recurring event for monthly taxes I would like to get alarm 2 days in advance (to calculate them) and then at the payment day (to pay). And so on.

evolution 1.4 has such functionality - see the screenshot. As you can see in
the appointment creation window there is a tab for reminders and one can add as
many reminders as he or she wishes.

While the details of evolution interface are not perfect, the general idea is
worth following.

In addition, to having multiple reminders before the event, it would be useful to have a reminder after the event, for follow-up action.
