Version:           0.8.6 (using KDE KDE 3.3.1)

Compiler:          gcc 3.3.3 march=i686

Using kde-3.3.0 this problem didn't exist. when i upgraded to 3.3.1 version, i noticed it when i view images attached in a mail (using kmail).

I tried to open the photo after opening kuickshow (open file...). With this software, the images are well shown as "previous look", but, when double clicking in it, the result is a black image.

I've probed opening  various format of image files, and from another software, and this error only happens in kuickshow
