Hi!
IMHO it would be very useful implement a checkbox in the printer dialog which asks for 
- use this printer next time (for every application ?)

It happens to me, that I sometimes print (pdf, kword) to a color printer, but this should never get the default, except for some "colored" applications like krita/gimp etc.
